Concrete mold for wave-force deflecting blocks

Using these forms, it is possible to produce blocks specifically designed to deflect wave force in the opposite direction.

In 2023, several special mold models were developed for the production of concrete blocks used to reinforce the coast of Ponta Negro (Brazil). These blocks were designed to withstand the harsh coastal environment and provide long-term protection against erosion.

The project is nearing completion and is already demonstrating its efficiency and strength, proving the reliability and durability of concrete solutions in difficult conditions.

The project was divided into nine sections, with 800 to 900 concrete blocks installed at each filling point. Approximately 19,000 blocks were installed over the entire two-kilometer length. These interventions successfully widened the beach, increasing the sandbar by 50 meters at high tide and 100 meters at low tide.
