Concrete block lifting equipment
Lifting concrete blocks with a clamp
The concrete block press is designed to pick up the block and move it to the desired location. The block is compressed with the help of a clamp and moved to the desired location.
This method requires a higher initial investment because you need to buy a press.
Depending on the model of the clamps, they can lift blocks of the appropriate width:
| Model | Max. mass of the block, kg | Block width, cm |
| CL40 | 2000 | up to 45 |
| CL60 | 2500 | 30 - 60 |
| CL80 | 3750 | 40 - 80 |
Block clamps can be attached to a forklift using a lifting beam.
Lifting beam CLA
When moving a concrete block using only a lifting chain, there is a risk that the block may start to sway, making it difficult to place. By connecting the lifting beam with the forklift above the concrete block clamp, the block can be moved stably. This allows one man to do all the work.
Double lifting beam CLA2
The advantage of the double lifting beam is that it has a second attachment, thanks to which the blocks can be moved both lengthwise and widthwise.
The maximum lifting weight of both beams is 5000kg.
Lifting concrete blocks by chain
The concrete block chain is designed to pick up the concrete block and move it to the desired location. There are loops attached to both ends of the chain that hook to anchors on the block. The chain is then raised and the entire block is raised.
Anchors in the blocks must be provided before it is manufactured. A magnet with an anchor is placed in the empty form. When the concrete hardens, the form is dismantled, the magnet is pulled out and the anchor remains in the concrete block. It is recommended to put two anchors in the block on different sides of the blocks to maintain balance when lifting it.
This method does not require a large initial investment, but each time before pouring the form with concrete, it is necessary to attach a magnet with an anchor to the form.
