Humidity sensor for installation in hoppers, ducts and on conveyor belts.

The Hydro-Probe was the first humidity sensor to use microwave humidity measurement technology. It has an integrated signal processing processor, which outputs the displayed information in digital and analog form. These sensor outputs can be easily connected to various control equipment. Typical applications include moisture measurement of sand, cement, concrete, asphalt and aggregates. Hydro-Probe XT is recommended for organic materials.

The sensor is designed for use in process areas where hoppers (silos), chutes and belt conveyors are used. In those places, the sensor is installed in the flow of the measured materials. Measurements are made 25 times per second when the measured material passes over or around the surface of the sensor, considering that the sensor can quickly detect changes in measurement levels. In this case, a real-time adjustment of the moisture content of the material can be made during the process. This ensures that the manufacturer can consistently produce a product of consistent consistency and quality, saving money on wasted materials.

The sensor can be installed in various places where there is a material flow. A mounting flange, cable and other necessary accessories can be ordered for the sensor.
