Metal detector for conveyors

To protect rock crushers in mining and quarrying facilities, MININGLAND offers a wide range of metal detectors for belt conveyors of various widths. Metal detectors are installed at the bottom of the bar and generate a magnetic field. If a conductor (metal) crosses this field, automation is triggered and the conveyor belt stops and light and sound signals are emitted.

The proposed system is innovative compared to the systems currently on the market, because due to its curved design it adapts to the shape of the conveyors and thus ensures greater efficiency, accuracy and safety.

The metal detector with one plate can detect the M16 nut at a height of 120mm. Detectors are manufactured with one or two detector plates mounted to maximize magnetic field and efficiency.

The sensitivity of the metal detector can be adjusted with potentiometers.
