Primary shredder

The primary crusher works on the principle of an impact crusher. Materials entering the opening fall on the rotating bladed shaft and are hit by centrifugal force at high speed against the outer wall of the crusher. The crushed materials fall to the bottom and the manufactured product is obtained here.

This crusher is designed to crush materials with a diameter of about 300/500mm and its function is to crush them into smaller pieces. They are used as primary crushers for crushing calcareous or low-abrasive and hard materials. They can work with a reduction ratio of up to 1/20 in a closed circuit. Thanks to their easily replaceable internal armor elements made of manganese steel, they can also work with medium abrasive materials.

A grate is installed at the exit of the crusher to separate larger and smaller stones (±40mm in diameter), which would be used for further crushing.
