Wheel washer

One of the simplest and oldest ways to wash sand is to use a wheel washer. Their working principle is very simple - a wheel with blades, immersed in water up to its shaft and filled with materials, rotates. The water washes away any clay in the material, and when the water is drained, the sand escapes.

Although this principle does not allow to achieve the goal of complete or continuous adequate washing of large amounts of sand, it is a good solution when used together with drains and cyclone equipment.
