Conical shredder
The cone crusher has a cone-shaped working body, which performs rotary-oscillating movement inside a stationary container. In this way, it crushes the materials, which are fed into the upper annular opening for loading. When the cone presses against one edge of the stationary container, it crushes the material, and when it turns to the other side, the crushed material falls into the outlet below. And so the cone rotates and crushes the materials continuously, and the crushed material is removed by gravity to the bottom outlet. To reduce wear, cone crushers are protected by steel armor.
The crushing process in cone crushers differs from e.g. in jaw crushers, takes place continuously. There is no idle speed in the crusher. All things being equal, cone crushers produce less out-of-size crushed material than jaw crushers.
Cone crushers are continuous crushing devices capable of operating under conditions of material blockage, direct and continuous supply of rock mass (by conveyors, dump trucks or bulk material wagons).
These shredders are especially suitable for working with very hard and abrasive materials. They are robust and reliable equipment that can be adapted to all crushing stages by choosing the right configuration.
