Jaw crusher

Crushing of rock and stone pieces in a jaw crusher is performed between two toothed metal plates - cheeks. One of them is attached to the frame of the crusher and does not move, the other performs rather oscillating movements. Crushing of rocks in a jaw crusher takes place cyclically - during the movement of one of the cheeks. By pulling one cheek away from the other, the space between them is filled with stone (mass). The crushed part of the rock is poured into the outlet located in the lower part between the cheeks.

Rock (rock mass) loading is carried out through the upper gap between the cheeks. This gap in the jaw grinder is called the feed hole. It determines the size of rock pieces that can be crushed by a particular jaw crusher and is measured in millimeters (for example, 1400×1100).

Jaw crushers are the best choice for primary crushing of large stone blocks, especially when the stones are very hard or very abrasive. Miningland jaw crushers are robust, reliable and easy to maintain. These jaw crushers can handle very hard and abrasive materials such as basalts, slates, granites, high-strength quartzites, etc.
